​​The 2021 AHA/ACC/ASE/CHEST/SAEM/SCCT/SCMR Guideline is the first ever clinical guideline from the ACC and AHA to focus solely on the evaluation and diagnosis of adult patients with chest pain. Hear from an expert-- a physician on the writing committee will speak of the importance of this guideline on chest pain evaluation and diagnosis and will include how this published article helped shape the Chest Pain- MI Registry's upgraded version 3.1​

  • Explore the importance of risk stratification in the evaluation of patients presenting with chest pain.
  • Name two benefits of an evidence-based approach for the diagnostic workup on patients deemed to be ‘low risk’​.
