Julie H. Mobayed, MPH, BSN, RN, CPHQ, AACC
Ms. Mobayed joined the ACC in August 2014 and is currently serving as a Director for the ACC’s National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) LAAO registry. Prior to transitioning to the LAAO registry she managed the ACC Patient Navigator Program National Quality Campaigns.
Prior to her position at the ACC, she worked for a Quality Improvement Organization in West Virginia leading several quality improvement projects that focused on reducing unnecessary hospital readmissions and improving the transition from hospital to home for patients.
She started in the healthcare arena as a Registered Nurse specializing in cardiovascular critical care. Julie has over 20 years of medical and clinical trials management experience. Her career path led her to Camcare Inc., a 930-bed hospital system in which she was recruited to help in developing a centralized Clinical Trials Center. Ms. Mobayed acted as the Clinical Research Manager and successfully developed and managed the Trial center’s million-dollar business.
Julie later co-founded Hyperion Clinical Research, LLC, and focused on project management where she designed project strategies, protocols, planned and developed project schedules and budgets and prepared and submitted major FDA regulatory documents.
Ms. Mobayed received her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Alderson-Broaddus College and a Master’s Degree in Public Health from The George Washington University. She received her CPHQ certification from the Healthcare Quality Certification Commission in 2019 and is an Associate of the American College of Cardiology.
