David Cho is an Assistant Clinical professor at the David Geffen UCLA School of medicine and general cardiologist who co-directs the UCLA Health Cardiology Quality program. He received his MD and MBA degrees from Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed all of his clinical training at UCLA Health, joining as faculty in 2018. His primary passion outside of patient care is the identification of unmet clinical needs and modernization of the healthcare experience to improve these inefficiencies. He also serves as the Chair of the American College of Cardiology Healthcare Innovation section, where he leads national efforts to develop Innovative programs that connect and develop people committed to improving healthcare delivery and discovery.
Dr. Cho lives in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles with his two young children and wife. In his free time, he loves to teach his kids how not to be bad at golf like their dad, and finding time for the occasional date night with his wife exploring the LA foodie scene.
