Ms. Curtis brings 17 years of healthcare experience including Phlebotomist, Emergency Department (ED) Technician, Student Nurse Technician, ED Registered Nurse, Charge Nurse, Trauma Nurse, Preceptor, Mentor, Chest Pain/Stroke Program Coordinator, and Quality Reporting & Analytics Coordinator.
Professional Experience
Early in her career, Ms. Curtis gravitated to the ED, fell in love with the typical organized chaos, and honed clincial assessments and skills. As a member of many improvement projects and committees, Ms. Curtis connected with speciality areas and collaborated with managers, educators, staff, and physicians. WIth a focus on patient care and professional partnerships, Ms. Curtis transitioned to coordinating the Chest Pain and Stroke Programs. Professional partnerships were key to improve processes and patient care. Ms. Curtis currently abstracts for the Chest Pain MI Registry, Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Registry, and serves on numerous teams in the East Central Region as Quality Reporting & Analytics Coordinator for the IU Health System.
